How to join the VDSEE
To join our DocSchool you have to meet the following criteria:
- You are admitted to the University of Vienna to a Doctoral Program
- You have to have a project with one of our supervisors
- You have to sign the Code of Good Practice for Doctoral Schools

You want to join the Vienna Doctoral School of Ecology and Evolution?
You are admitted to a doctoral program and have a project with one of our supervisors?
If so, please read our Code of Good Practice carefully to learn about your responsibilities as a PhD student, and then sign it.
After joining the VDSEE
After signing the Code of Good Practice and joining VDSEE, the next steps are:
- Attend the VDSEE Welcome Session to receive key information for your first months and ask initial questions
- Prepare your PhD project presentation, which is a mandatory milestone within the first year of your PhD
- Check out the VDSEE administration tool
