Welcome Session

We recommend that all incoming VDSEE PhD-candidates attend the welcome session within the first few months. Here you will learn:

• What is the DocSchool and how can it support you during your PhD
• Faculty presentation (FÖP), dissertation agreement, University-related paper work
• Requirements during your PhD (ECTS, annual reports, etc.)
• Funding and grants
• Expectations management between PhD-candidate and supervisor
• What to do if difficulties arise

This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you might have and get to know your peers. We’re looking forward to seeing many of you there.
