The Vienna Doctoral School of Ecology and Evolution within the Faculty of Life Sciences includes eleven research groups focusing on research and education in the ecology and evolution of microbes to humans.
Our mission is to offer an internationally competitive doctoral training, combining excellent research and teaching. The Doctoral School provides PhD candidates an excellent research environment and infrastructure to carry out cutting edge research and to advance our knowledge on the organization and development of individual organisms to ecosystems.
